Learning & Engagement Programs

At ProSocial World, we offer practical, science-based programs that help individuals, teams, and communities strengthen collaboration and lead meaningful change. From introductory courses like Becoming ProSocial to advanced experiences such as the Ambassador’s Program, our learning journeys provide the tools, strategies, and support needed to build trust, navigate complexity, and create lasting impact.

About Our Programs

Becoming Prosocial
An 8-week guided introduction to the ProSocial method as an applied change process. Through weekly peer-group meetings, participants explore the foundations of collaboration and practice applying tools to their real-world challenges.

Leading Prosocial
Designed for those navigating complex, polarized environments. This 10-week course provides evidence-based strategies to enhance trust, strengthen cooperation, and lead cultural change in teams, organizations, and networks.

ProSocial Lab
A cohort-based program that supports groups ready to design and implement social impact projects. Participants receive expert facilitation and guidance, learning to apply ProSocial’s principles to real challenges while building lasting collaboration.

Custom Programs
Bespoke programs are collaborative efforts involving a range of stakeholders focused on implementing a suite of positive social change (prosocial) methods as a form of conscious organisational evolution. Should you be involved, you will join a group of other change agents—representing 10-12 organisations/units—working within their respective spheres of influence and with each other to implement prosocial methods. The aim for your organisation/s and communities more broadly is for them to be more successful in their endeavours and to work more effectively with each other as they implement prosociality at larger scales.

The Ambassador’s Program: A Flagship Experience

The Ambassador’s Program is a six-month applied learning journey for leaders seeking to create meaningful change in their organizations and communities. It is designed to support leaders as they work on their most pressing adaptive challenges while building the capacity for long-term collaboration.

Purpose
Participants from any background or sector – business, government, education, and community – come together to:
- Learn and apply the principles of ProSocial in real contexts.
- Support each other in implementing projects within their spheres of influence.
- Foster environments where cooperation, trust, and flourishing can take root.

How the program works

ProSocial World’s Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach prioritizes collaboration at every stage of the research process, ensuring that the communities and groups we work with are active partners, not just subjects.

We co-develop research questions, evaluation plans, and data collection strategies with stakeholders, aligning these efforts with the unique goals and values of each group. Our approach empowers and supports participants to interpret their own data, fostering a shared understanding of results and co-creating actionable insights. By integrating input from diverse perspectives, ProSocial ensures that the research remains relevant and responsive to evolving community needs. This approach not only enhances the accuracy and relevance of our research, but also strengthens participants to drive meaningful, prosocial change within their own communities.

ProSocial Insights

Our ProSocial Insights tool provides an accessible, standardized method for consistent data collection and evaluation across multiple field sites. By offering a centralized platform for inputting, tracking, and analyzing data, this tool enables field sites to align their reporting with ProSocial’s objectives, fostering a unified approach to measuring prosocial behaviors and outcomes.
