Evolving Prosocial AI, with Peter Fenton

The rapid onset of Artificial intelligence (AI) is a pivotal moment in human cultural evolution. Yet, most developers of AI do not have a sophisticated knowledge of modern evolutionary science. An exception is Peter Fenton, whose venture capital firm Benchmark places him at the center of the AI revolution. Peter also has a lifelong interest in philosophy and generalized Darwinism, which refers to any process that combines the three ingredients of variation, selection, and replication.
